Radicchio has oriental origins, and was introduced to Europe around the fifteenth century. The term “radicchio” derives from the Latin “radìculum”, diminutive of “radicula”, in turn diminutive of “radix” – “radicis”, which means “root”. We prepare this sauce with radicchio and natural ingredients.
