The cream is ready to pour directly onto freshly drained pasta or heat the opened jar in a bain-marie. It is recommended to stir well before use and dilute with a little pasta cooking water and heat the cream in a small pan over low heat. In risotto, add the cream in the process of creaming. Try it also on crostoni, with lasagna or as a filling for cream puffs and vol-au-vents. It is excellent on eggs and to accompany meats.
Parmigiano Reggiano is a PDO hard cheese, produced with raw cow milk, semi-skinned by natural surfacing skimming, without additives or preservatives. The area of production encompass the provinces of Parma, Reggio Aemilia, Modena, Bologna (left bank of Reno river) and Mantua (south of the Po river).
