These sweet little treats are designed to let your imagination run wild. A shortcrust pastry base enriched with almond flour and then a filling that can change according to one’s taste, and there you have a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack interlude ready.
Ingredients
160 g cake flour
50 g almond flour or ground almonds
80 g butter
1 egg + 1 egg white
1 teaspoon baking powder
80 g sugar
One jar Cascina San Cassiano sweets products Mulberry preserve, Pears and cocoa spread, “Difrutta”High in protein blueberry spread
Also try with a filling of Whole chestnuts in syrup chopped and mixed with D.O.C.G. Moscato d’Asti wine spread or Cappuccino spread
Preparation
Then reduce the almonds to fine flour and pour into a bowl. Add the flour, baking powder, sugar, chopped softened butter, and egg. Mix and knead the dough quickly with your hands; you can also use a robot.
Then roll out the dough on a floured surface to the height of 4 to 5 millimetres. Use a round pastry cutter or glass about 6 cm in diameter. Stuff as desired with a teaspoon and fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
Place the ravioli on the baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush the surface with lightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with the almond slivers.
Bake at 180° for 15 minutes.
